Custom knife maker quality
Custom knife makers know how to make a knife.
The Sub Hilt Folder is categorized as a tactical folder so first thing to notice is the knife can be waved. This means that when you pull the knife out of your pocket intentionally a certain way it can deploy the knife. Normally there's a hook to catch your pocket but the Vallaton keeps a nice silhouette while still having the function. The next feature that hints to it being a custom knife is that all the screws inside the knife are coated because those are possible areas of rust.

Blade length: 3 3/4"
Blade thickness: 4mm |
Things to consider for buyers:
-The knife is Taiwan made so the finger hole is not smoothed & therefore can wear the thumb so it needs to be to accommodate constant use (the liners are also a little edgy)
-We suggest the knife be modified for more traction if for self defense -The knife is all stainless steel construction so will need maintenance in the handle to prevent rust - A great feature is that screws inside the knife & outside are all coated to prevent rusting (this helps but they should still be maintained) -The pocket clip doesn't work too well on thicker pants |
