//Step 1: Choose the size and shape of  the handle

Picture
//STANDARD or TACTICAL or MICRO
>Choose if you want a compact 6" length or the tactical 7" version. Standard Arbiters start at $125 USD. Tactical version starts at $150 USD

>Both can be deployed for self defense but the 7" model offers a 4 finger grip and gives more room for error. A lanyard can be added to the 6" version for improved grip. Micro is 5" and meant for women or small hands. Standard 6" is good as a neck or belt knife

//FRAME STYLE
>Choose the body style (diagram on left)
>Modification can be done to any of the template frames upon request
>Choose Integrated Choil or traditional kiridashi blade (fe Classic C vs Classic A)
>Choose negative angled blade or standard (fe Carbon)

//Step 2: Pick your metal

//TOUGHNESS, EDGE RETENTION, CORROSION RESISTANCE, LIGHTER WEIGHT
//Higher performance tool steels can rust but can be thinner while still being tough which saves weight and improves deep cutting performance. Stainless steel options can be ordered thicker to improve toughness and various performance options can be purchased to enhance cutting performance and weight reduction.

//High performance option Arbiters start at $180USD
>For toughness Z Wear is supreme but it is a tool steel that can stain & is mildly prone to rust (High performance option)
>For edge holding 10v or S110v. 10v is not stainless & rusts very easily but will be tougher than S110v (Both high performance options)
>For corrosion resistance N690co is very resistant and still tough
>6AL4V Titanium is optimal for blades designated with only tactical requirements in adverse weather but is <45 HRC so edge retention is low (For titanium add $55 instead to calculated costs. Super T Coat is recommended)
>Elmax is available

//Step 3: Frame Performance Options

//Machining for weight reduction (drilling):
>Mild weight reduction: Stainless Steels 15$, Titanium or High Performance Stainless or Tool Steels $35 USD
>Advanced weight reduction: Stainless Steels $30 USD, Titanium or High Performance Stainless or Tool Steels  $55 USD

//Handle Traction
>Jimping on handle $15 USD
>Jimping on blade $15 USD
>G10 Polymer handle scales $80 USD (Previously named the Invictus model)
>Carbon Fiber Handle Scales  $80 USD (weak to impacts)

//Step 4: Design the blade

>No convex or hollow grind
>Straight blades perform better when dull for general pull cutting tasks such as box opening, curved blades have a scooping capability when cutting flat surfaces.

//Cutting performance
>Scalloping $35 USD (innovative technique created by NK that improves splitting capabilities dramatically along with reducing weightfor chisel ground blades)
>Reinforced tip/ Multi Grind $20 USD (thinner blade grind only on the belly for improved slicing) reinforced tip for piercing and break resistance
>Extended finger choil (no cost option)
>Negative Angle Blade (no cost option)
>Recurve, Curved, Straight (no cost option)
>Hawk/ Claw Blade $25 USD
>Recurve Tanto American $25 USD
>Tanto American (no cost option)

//STep 5: Sheath Options

>Standard Sheath Holstex or Kydex (complimentary)
>Retention Screw Lock (Additional hardware) $15 USD
>Extended Guard Sheath $20 USD
>Double Molle Lok $15 USD
>Spare Hardware $10 USD
>Breathing holes to prevent rust $10 USD
