this knife requires proper holding in order to prevent injury. We feel here at neptuneknives that a more ergonomic handled knife is safer. we can say that the knife is very well constructed but not perhaps the most functional for us to supply

Cold Steel Aluminum Handled Ti-lite stiletto 4"
Strongest of liner locks by reputation.
Cold Steel is known for creating knives with unbeatable lock strength, The Ti Lite with it's liner lock is no exception. The knife features a uniquely shaped lock bar that increases the max load to 80lbs which is equal to some of the strongest frame lock knives. Most frame locks fail around this mark & yet Cold Steel has managed to make this liner lock perform at the same level. The liner is thin though so the knife is not meant for heavy cutting tasks as this will wear the lock quickly.
Better parts than the zytel version.
The zytel version uses teflon washers while the aluminum uses phosphor bronze.
The screws are all coated on the aluminum version preventing rust & lowering maintenance.
The blade & steel liners are oxidized finished to help prevent rust.
The handle design allows for a strong grip when held properly.
Even though it may not look functional the design of the handle does help keep the knife secure in the hand but being that this knife is a traditional shape without finger grooves or ramps, safety when wielding is more upon the individual to know how to properly hold a stiletto/fighting knife.
