Spyderco United Kingdom (U.K.) Pen knife Non-Locking Folder (limited production)
Rare version with a stronger lock.
Although the UKPK is a slipjoint knife without the traditional frame lock or liner lock, the knife still has a locking mechanism that's just doesn't require any deactivating to close the knife. The knife can open & close with the use of one hand but must be used only for slicing in order to ensure the blade does not unlock & cut the user. The lock is a stainless steel bar that hold the blade in place but doesn't actually lock it. The G10 version has a stronger build & handles which give it a very high quality feel to it & more toughness.
Dangers of a slipjoint knife.
As noticeable in the picture the UKPK only protects the user if they are holding the knife completely along the handle all the way up to the blade choil. Care must be taken to hold the knife using all of the ergonomic curves to ensure proper safety.
Why a slipjoint?
Locking folding knives have many restrictions the world over. Slipjoint knives are completely legal to carry & use almost anywhere you go (schools & courts not allowed but church is fine :/) Also with the screws being the same size & no liners the knife is low maintenance & very lightweight.

Final comments on the ukpk
The main thing is that the knife is so well built. The craftsmanship & friendly design make the knife very comfortable in the hand to use. On top of this you're getting USA quality & zero maintenance issues.

*Caution to users: Please note that the choil on the blade that protects your finger from being cut if the knife unlocks only works if you are holding the knife using all the cut outs on the handle including the blade
