the next generation Sage 3 Bolt Action Lock - A stronger benchmade

Picture
One of my personal favorite tactical folders.
1. You can wave it or flick it open with your wrist.
2. Secure grip if wet or with gloves on & has a choil for safety along with a super strong lock mechanism.
3. Lightweight & doesn't fall out of pocket easily because of the new g10
4. Fast deployment & putting away.
5. When you grip the knife the handle sits into your palm keeping it secure
Take this as a warning for safety.
Production knives that are frame locks are usually considered among many as the strongest but if you've watched my vid series you know that compression style locks are the best. Basically a compression style lock pinches the lock into place ensuring the only way usually for the lock to fail is if the actual metal parts snap or crush.

What's the difference?

The new Sage 3 is larger in handle size compared to Sage 2 which helps fill the hand more & along with the g10 provide more traction & grip whether wet, or with gloves on the knife has one of the most secure grips out there!

Super solid steel construction

Things to consider

-The locking mechanism & addition of more grip (both texture & size increase) give this knife a slight advantage over the Sage 2 but keep in mind that the maintenance limitations due to the construction of this knife limit it's uses (f.e. kitchen, skinning, marine climates, fishing, mud & dirt)
-We definitely do not suggest (basically it's a waste of time) trying to disassemble the knife as the main section of the knife requires the use of professional tools
-The bolt lock makes the knife more secure from accidental disengaging compared to a frame lock & therefore is more reliable for tactical use
- If you get dirt in the knife it's better to blow the dirt out rather than wash it unless you can completely wash the knife because rust can form inside
