//The stainless steel liners have a slight sand blast on them which may promote rust formation //The overall build quality is strong but the knife is quite heavy & bulky //Those that like Emerson's will like the feel of this knife //The pocket clip is small so the knife can move around when clipped to the pocket //The blade is a utilitarian modified wharncliffe which is great for kitchen type cutting, drawing, and chopping but not advisable because of the bearing pivot system //The pivot utilizes bearings which are not meant to take loads meaning prying with the blade is not recommended //The action is super fast and combined with the blade weight has an extremely strong "click" |
//Roles & Application
//More of a collector's piece or general utility blade mainly because of the deep carry pocket clip & the limited corrosion resistance. Also the knife has many components and is recommend from factory to not be disassembled //With the strong action it's easy to deploy this knife and make an impression on people with the audible lock, it's definitely not an office or gentleman's design //The issue with this is the knife doesn't serve the role of being a tactical knife too well because of the deep carry pocket clip & the relatively small clip yet heavy weight of the knife which makes it not ideal for jobs that involve lots of movement |
